2009 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG to get a 7Gtronic!

Apparently Mercedes is said to finally have managed to strengthen its super smart 7G tronic gearbox to withstand 1000Nm of torque.

After a long wait Benz’s flagship model is said to get the latest high tech 7 speed gearbox it deserves. Expect improvement of already nearly incredible performance as well as less fuel consumption. The CL a S range 65s should get the gearbox in the same model year 2009. Pictures of the SL65 AMG have not sufaced yet so we attached pics of appears to be a regular SL600.
This information is yet to be finally confirmed, though.
