Those who do not follow high-end pre-owned cars market on regular basis might suffer a mild shock after they’ve checked current market prices for 6-8 years old BMW Z8s. Such low levels of depreciation have not been observed in luxury car market for a long period.

2008 Porsche 911 still has a 5 speed auto box? Oh dear…

When Porsche launched its 997 range in 2005, they decided to temporarily use their old outdated 5 speed auto box for the car. Everybody was hoping that the advanced DSG-style gearbox was in a very late stage of development and was going to make it to the market in 2006 at the latest.

Audi R8 V12 TDI Concept officially debuts

Audi is widely expected to launch a V10 version of its R8 sports car next, but a new concept announced at the Detroit auto show ups the ante to twelve cylinders. Audi officially revealed the concept today, following a leak earlier this week.

Power for the concept comes from the automakers race-derived 6.0 liter V12 diesel motor, which was first used in the R10 Le Mans competition car, and is now available in the Audi Q7. The engine produces 500 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque.
